IVVC for 2023-2024 | Posted 2/9/23
The application period for IVVC for the 2023-2024 school year is now complete. Students who applied finished their interviews on Friday, January 27. The final numbers will go to the board of education at the February board meeting and then the students will find out if they have earned a seat at IVVC. Students who currently attend IVVC as a junior need to let Mrs. McAnally know if they plan to return to IVVC by February 13. After February 13, students will be locked in for another year of IVVC. Therefore, if you do not plan to return to IVVC next year, you must let Mrs. McAnally know ASAP!
Hope for College Now organization | Posted 9/13/21
Attention Students: It has come to my attention that there is a company called Hope for College Now that is sending out invitations by mail to our students. This invitation is for a free personal one-on-one meeting to learn about how they can maximize your acceptance to college, scholarship offers, and financial aid for a fee. Please be careful. While the meeting is legitimate, the offer is for you to pay a large sum of money so they can help you get into college. Guess what? Your school counselor can do that for free!! Please be wary of such offers! If you'd like more information on how to determine legitimate scholarship, admission, and financial aid offers, please see Mrs. McAnally.

Final Transcripts for Seniors
Final transcripts cannot be mailed until all grades are posted at the end of the year. Therefore, seniors should expect final transcripts to be mailed approximately one week after the end of the school year. Programs of Study
Did you know the school's website contains guidelines for many college and career options? These are called Programs of Study. A program of study will list the various courses a student needs to take during high school, as well as suggested college courses in order to earn a degree in a specific area. The Programs of Study sheets also contain links to important college websites, scholarship options, and career information. Programs of Study are available in the following areas: agriculture, business, arts & communications, family and consumer sciences, law enforcement, fire science, and early childhood development. View the NCHS Programs of Study. If you have questions about any of these programs, please contact either the NCHS content teacher or Mrs. McAnally in the counseling office.
