Attention Freshmen: Mrs. Mac will hold a night just for you and your parents this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the LRC. We will talk about four-year plans, using Xello to research careers, purposeful career exploration, IVVC, high school employment, community service and Graduate of Distinction, transcripts, and study skills. Freshmen to Begin Career Exploration | Posted 12/22/23
When we return to school in January, Mrs. McAnally will begin working with the current freshmen on career exploration. We will utilize our career program, Xello, to take an interest inventory, research a career, and present those ndings. Students will also be able to attend a career fair at the YMCA in Plano. Then, this spring, freshmen will be able to visit IVVC for an afternoon to see if they would like to attend IVVC during their junior and/or senior years.
